America's Best Pizzas
Pizza! We consulted venerable texts and online sources, sought out old-school Formica-table joints and brazen newcomers alike. We ended up with a list of more than 140 places for pizza. There were hundreds of votes cast by a venerable panel of about 20 American chefs, restaurant critics, and pizza authorities, most of whom, besides the Los Angeles Times' Jonathan Gold and Chicago Magazine's Penny Pollack, requested anonymity. The results are probably going to really bubble your crust, and burn your upskirt.

Marc, I have been in culinary my whole life learning from a French/Italian/Irish family and mother. I like to think that I have tried a lot of pizzas, and I have even worked a few wood stoves slinging pies in my lifetime...but the pizza I have at Roppolo's is by far the most magnificent delicacy I have ever had. I am almost always the sober one of the bunch, and I don't mind being the designated driver at all as long as at some point in the evening I can enjoy my pizza. I have had a lot of great memories in your shop, met friends, shared laughs, and last night my boyfriend said I love you for the first time in your very shop. I am sure this is a sign of a wonderful beginning... what better place to start than at Roppolo's right?
